Fulham have announced the signing of midfielder Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal for a fee believed to be £27m, with performance/achievement-related conditions potentially increasing to £34m.
The 24-year-old has signed a long-term contract until June 2029, with the option to extend for a further 12 months. UFABET
The versatile midfielder is often deployed on the left wing or as a #10 in the Gunners’ kit, but he is also capable of playing on the right wing or as a #8 midfielder.
“Finally I am here. I am so happy for myself and my family. It is a good moment,” he said on his official website.
“I’m very excited and want to be here as soon as possible. So I’m going to practice with my teammates right away.”
“Having heard the plans, having spoken to head coach Marco Silva and the squad we have here. It’s an exciting project for me and definitely the perfect step forward in my career.”
Smith Rowe played a small role in Mikel Arteta’s side last season. Playing just 346 league games, starting three. And was ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury in October.
Currently, Fulham generals have opened a training camp in Portugal. It is expected that Smith Rowe will quickly follow to join them.
